The Minto Lakers can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Saturday. They breezed by Lumen Christi on the road to the tune of 55-22. The victory was just what Minto needed coming off of a 73-48 defeat in their prior game.
Andrew David was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points. He hasn't dropped below 15points for seven straight games. Jeff Frank was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Minto's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Lumen Christi, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Minto's road trip will continue as they head out to face Tri-Valley on January 18th. As for Lumen Christi, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Birchwood Christian. Birchwood Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lumen Christi in Alaska (Birchwood Christian is ranked 14th, while Lumen Christi is ranked 62nd).
