Corinth's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kylon Fields, who scored 9 points. Another player making a difference was Braedyn Burress, who scored 8 points along with 8 rebounds.
Corinth's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Booneville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.
Corinth will look to defend their home court on Monday against Alcorn Central at 7:00 p.m. Alcorn Central has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 233 points over their last four contests. As for Booneville, they will head out on the road to face off against New Hope at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
