Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Mogollon Mustangs, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They had to suffer through a rough 62-30 loss at the hands of Hayden. Mogollon's loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.
Hayden got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Deondre Collier out in front who rushed for 125 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries. Collier has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kino Lorona, who rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.
Mogollon's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Hayden, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
Mogollon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hayden also has no future games currently scheduled.
