Nafeese Nasir was the best running back in Suburban One - American this week. In 7 carries, he ran for 68 yards as Plymouth Whitemarsh fell to Abington. Teammate Brian Afflick added to the ground attack by rushing for 18 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Cardinals' John Derr and Siwinski have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-3 quarterback Derr has thrown for 1,333 yards this season, while Siwinski has 46 catches for 653 yards. Jequan Mitchell from Upper Merion Area leads the league in rushing with 1,102 yards.
Afflick has rushed for 915 yards on 148 carries so far this year.
Upper Moreland made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,692 from 7,854. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 25-14 victory over Owen J. Roberts last week.
