Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Casey Carpenter stepped things up a notch to give John Carroll the 'W'. Carpenter wasn't messing around, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The matchup was his third straight with at least one stolen base.

Carpenter's strong effort led John Carroll over Loyola Blakefield and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Patriots are 8-2 against the Dons going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
