3A District 2 recap Sept. 26, 2012
Providence was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to second in 3A District 2. The Stallions defeated Harvest Community 45-8 earlier in the week.
Episcopal moved up to 233 from 339 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Eagles climbed the ranks as a result of a 28-27 win over West Nassau.
Trinity Christian's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Conquerors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Oshay Carter has thrown for 303 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Isaiah Ford has 12 catches for 163 yards. Jeffery Holland leads the league in rushing with 240 yards.
Episcopal and the Warriors played the most hotly contested game in 3A District 2 this week, with Episcopal eventually emerging with a 28-27 victory.
