It was a good run, but the Campo Verde Coyotes unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 49-37 to Williams Field. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Campo Verde has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Campo Verde still got an impressive performance from Kelsey Watts, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. Watts hasn't dropped below two steals for ten straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Barnes, who scored nine points.
Campo Verde's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Williams Field, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Campo Verde will take on Mountain Pointe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mountain Pointe is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Williams Field, they will be playing at home against Higley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Higley is ranked 46th, while Williams Field is ranked 27th).
