Heritage Christian took care of business in their home opener on Saturday (barely). They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lake Arrowhead Competitive Sports and snuck past 43-40.
When it comes to explaining why Lake Arrowhead Competitive Sports lost, one person who can't be blamed is Hunter Ball. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Christopher Dorius, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Heritage Christian's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Lake Arrowhead Competitive Sports, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
Heritage Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lake Arrowhead Competitive Sports at 10:00 a.m. on February 10th. As for Lake Arrowhead Competitive Sports, they will take on Christian Heritage HomeSchool at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday.
