The Vikings blew past Forbes Road 11-3 on Friday. The Vikings' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Jordan Young made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Young was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, Grant Boozer was incredible, going 4-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Hunter Critchfield, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-5.
Shanksville Stonycreek was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .405. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Turkeyfoot Valley Area had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Yellow Jackets. The five-run effort marked the Rams' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
The team relied heavily on Luke Bowers, who scored a run and stole five bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Shanksville Stonycreek's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Turkeyfoot Valley Area, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
