The Century Centurions typically have all the answers at home, but on Monday the Meridian Bobcats proved too difficult a challenge. They secured a 45-39 W over the Centurions. The win made it back-to-back wins for Meridian.
Century lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Karleigh Jones, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Dillow, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Meridian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Century, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-3.
Meridian will head out on the road to take on Vienna at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vienna is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games. As for Century, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Joppa-Maple Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Joppa-Maple Grove is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
