The team also got some help courtesy of Molly Spain, who had four points along with seven boards and six assists.
Salem's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Kellam, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 20-1.
Salem and Kellam should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. Salem will take on Tallwood at 5:30 p.m. on Friday up 284 places (54 vs. 338). Salem will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
