Pace and Crestview are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2018, but not for long. The Patriots will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Pace is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.
Pace will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Niceville, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. The Patriots put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday.
Pace never let Niceville on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 27-25, 25-19.

Pace's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Liv Riffell, who had 11 digs and six assists, and Layla Claudio, who had 12 assists and six digs. That's the most assists Riffell has posted over her last six contests.
Pace was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in nine consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Crestview beat Tate 2-0 on Saturday.
The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-22.
Pace's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Crestview, their win bumped their record up to 13-10.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's matchup: Pace has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 10.2 aces per game. However, it's not like Crestview struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.7 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Pace was able to grind out a solid victory over Crestview in their previous matchup on September 4th, winning 3-1. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
