The West Forsyth Titans were the 63-56 winner over the Reagan Raiders when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. West Forsyth fell 73-66 to Reagan on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
When it comes to explaining why West Forsyth lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jordan Jones. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jones has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jacari Brim, who scored 12 points along with eight assists and three steals.
West Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Reagan, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Forsyth will take on Davie at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Averaging 68.1 points so far this season, West Forsyth's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Davie better be ready for a challenge. As for Reagan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Parkland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Parkland focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
