After having lost a blowout to Tatum in their previous contest, Mountainair were happy to find some success on Friday. Mountainair took the game and then some with a 56-12 victory over Mesilla Valley Christian School. That result is just more of the same for Mountainair, who also won the last time these teams played.
The win bumped Mountainair's record up to 2-1. The loss dropped Mesilla Valley Christian School back to even at 1-1.
Mountainair will stay at home next week against Ramah at 4:00 PM. As for Mesilla Valley Christian School, they will face off against Tatum.
