The Rocklin Thunder will head out to face off against the Whitney Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Rocklin comes in on five and Whitney on four.
Rocklin is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over Vista del Lago on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Thunder, who have now won five matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Renee Dragseth was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Molly Jumelet also deserves some recognition as she scored her first runs of the season.
Rocklin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Vista del Lago only posted an OBP of .357.
Meanwhile, while Whitney put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Granite Bay. The Wildcats came out on top against the Grizzlies by a score of 5-0.
Whitney also got a great performance from Taylor Cordell as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Cordell has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, Larissa Rogowski was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI. Sidney Kleiner was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Rocklin's record is now 11-2. As for Whitney, their record now sits at 11-3.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Rocklin has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.2 hits per game. However, it's not like Whitney struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.1 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Rocklin came out on top in a nail-biter against Whitney in their previous meeting back in February, sneaking past 2-0. Do the Thunder have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
