The Reagan Bison's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their tenth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Sunset, falling 50-18. Reagan lost against Sunset in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 47-20 score last time.
Leading Sunset to victory were Alyssa Torrech and Bianca Pacheco. Torrech scored 16 points along with nine steals, while Pacheco dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Pacheco has scored at least 25% of Sunset's points.
Reagan bumped their record down to 1-11 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Sunset, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reagan will take on Downtown Doral at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sunset, they will be playing at home against St. Brendan at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
