On Friday Oakland take on Glide at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close game.
Last Friday, Oakland were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 0-6 to Bandon.
Glide had a rough outing against Coquille two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Glide put a hurting on Reedsport to the tune of 46-0.
Glide's victory lifted them to 2-1 while Oakland's loss dropped them down to 0-3. We'll see if Glide's success rolls on or if Oakland are able to steal their positive momentum.
