After flying high against the Oasis Christian Lions on Monday, the Ridgeview Global Studies Academy Explorers came back down to earth. Ridgeview Global Studies Academy took a 37-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fort Meade.
Stephanie Morales and Claire Curry certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Morales scored 11 points along with 4 steals, while Curry scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Morales scored a full 33.3% of Ridgeview Global Studies Academy's points, the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Ridgeview Global Studies Academy now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Fort Meade, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgeview Global Studies Academy will take on Lakeland Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakeland Christian will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line. As for Fort Meade, they will be playing at home against Lake Placid at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
