The Corner Canyon Chargers had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They took down Bingham 68-52. Corner Canyon pushed the score to 54-33 by the end of the third, a deficit Bingham cut but never quite recovered from.
Corner Canyon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Taylor Feroah, who shot 4-for-5 from deep and almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brody Kozlowski, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.
Bingham's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke West, who scored 14 points. Stockton Tueller was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Corner Canyon has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Bingham, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.
Corner Canyon will head out on the road to square off against Riverton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bingham, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Copper Hills at 7:00 p.m. Bingham is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 68.9 points per game this season.
