The Chesterfield Golden Rams suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 68-22 loss at the hands of Andrew Jackson. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Chesterfield has scored all season.
Andrew Jackson got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bryce Peterson out in front who scored 19 points along with seven assists and four steals. Peterson's trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Jy'Kevius Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Chesterfield has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season. As for Andrew Jackson, their victory was their 14th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3.
Chesterfield will take on Central at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Andrew Jackson won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against North Central at 8:00 p.m. on January 24th. North Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 150th, while Andrew Jackson is ranked 38th).
