The Somerset Academy - Canyons Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their seventh straight loss. They took a 57-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sports Leadership & Management.
Sports Leadership & Management found their leader in underclassman Wesley Inigo, who scored 12 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Camarrillo, who scored five points along with nine rebounds.
Somerset Academy - Canyons bumped their record down to 7-7 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Sports Leadership & Management, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-5.
Somerset Academy - Canyons on the road again on Monday and play against Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) at 11:30 a.m. on January 15th. One thing working in Somerset Academy (Silver Palms)'s favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they will be playing at home against Miami at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
