The Wyatt Chaparrals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 81-53 defeat at the hands of Madison. Wyatt lost against Madison in their previous head to head back in December of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 64-60 score last time.
Davonta Morgan-Collins was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 14 points along with 3 steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now stole two or more in the last three games he's played. RayJon King was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Wyatt's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Madison, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-5.
Wyatt will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Taylor at 6:30 p.m. on December 1st. Taylor is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. As for Madison, they will take on Waco at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
