Pearl River will take on Haynes Academy at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. Haynes Academy will need to watch out since Pearl River have now posted big point totals in their last four contests.
Pearl River won against Pine two weeks ago with 42 points, and Pearl River decided to stick to that point total again last Friday. Pearl River strolled past Riverdale with points to spare, taking the matchup 42-27.
Meanwhile, Haynes Academy have had to suffer through a 3-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took the match and then some with a 50-0 victory over Fisher. Haynes Academy were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped Haynes Academy to 1-3 and Pearl River to 4-0. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
