The McDowell Trojans will take on the Seneca Bobcats at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (McDowell 3.5, Seneca 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
McDowell is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Warren get on the board and left with a 24-0 victory on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won three games in a row.
Emma Mickel was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one RBI.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Seneca finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mercyhurst Prep. The Bobcats' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Like McDowell, Seneca also got a great game from a two-way player: Sophia Primavere. On the mound, she struck out six batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). Primavere was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.
