The Clarendon Hall Saints lost against the Jefferson Davis Academy Raiders on January 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Clarendon Hall fell to Jefferson Davis Academy 54-49. Clarendon Hall has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jefferson Davis Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Colson Loadholt, who scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Loadholt has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nasir Void, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Clarendon Hall has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Jefferson Davis Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9.
Clarendon Hall won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Thomas Sumter Academy at 7:15 p.m. on January 19th. Thomas Sumter Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Jefferson Davis Academy, they will be playing at home against Ragin Prep Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
