The Coral Park Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past Marathon 76-50.
Despite the loss, Marathon still got an impressive performance from YANIEL GARCIA, who scored 23 points along with four steals. That's the first time this season that GARCIA scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was DAESHAWN HOLMES, who scored six points along with five rebounds and four blocks.
Coral Park's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Marathon, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coral Park and Miami Beach will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 18th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in Miami Beach's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches. Marathon will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Archimedean at 4:00 p.m. on December 20th. Archimedean is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
