Fort Wayne Snider came out on top against Fort Wayne Wayne on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run third inning. The Panthers blew past the Generals 14-1. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

Landen Fry was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Fort Wayne Snider let Brandon Logan and Isaiah Snavely run wild. Logan got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases and three runs, while Snavely got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Logan has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Mohrman, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI.

Fort Wayne Snider pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.3 runs over those games. As for Fort Wayne Wayne, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Looking ahead, Fort Wayne Snider will venture away from home to square off against Homestead at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Fort Wayne Wayne, they will host Lakewood Park Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Generals are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
