The Beauregard Hornets entered their tilt with the Tallassee Tigers with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Beauregard managed a 38-34 win over the Tigers on Saturday. 38 seems to be a good number for Beauregard as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Beauregard can attribute much of their success to Cooper Watson, who scored five points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Watson hasn't dropped below two steals for 12 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kam Torbert, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Beauregard has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. As for Tallassee, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-11.
Beauregard will head out on the road to challenge the Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Valley is on a three-game streak of home wins, the Hornets a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Tallassee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
