Spring Valley had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Las Vegas, posting a 66-38 victory at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Spring Valley has posted since November 29, 2023.
Mia Ervin continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points along with five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Melanie Ortiz, who scored six points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Meanwhile, Democracy Prep Agassi Campus unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 54-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bishop Gorman.
Spring Valley's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Democracy Prep Agassi Campus, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5.
