Riverton Parke is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Clinton Prairie with a sharp 12-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 22 contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Jayleigh Inman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Inman was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one triple. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lizzy Leitgabel, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylee Jukes, who went 2-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, North Newton's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's sixth consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over Westville.
Like Riverton Parke, North Newton also got a great game from a two-way player: Sydney Rainford. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. Rainford was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs.
Rainford wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Riley Higgins, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Riverton Parke's record is now 26-4. As for North Newton, their record now sits at 21-3-1.
