Early College had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Edison Tech Inventors by a score of 8-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-0 on Saturday.

Early College's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Edison Tech, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Coming up, Early College will host Marion at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Sharks are facing the Black Knights at the right time seeing as the Black Knights are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Edison Tech, they will square off against Franklin at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.83 runs per game on average), something the Inventors will no doubt try to take advantage of.
