Brody Metting Delivers Electric Performance Vs Pettus
Starting off the list is Yorktown's Brody Metting, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Metting rushed for 179 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 65 yards and a touchdown.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Yorktown, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. Metting and Yorktown will head out to challenge Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Tyler Pawelek Leads Falls City over Louise
Falls City was led to victory by Tyler Pawelek, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Pawelek rushed for 109 yards and four touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The victory (which was Falls City's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Pawelek and Falls City will head out to square off against Shiner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Mckenzie Yanta Crosses Big Stat Threshold
The second Yorktown player making an appearance here is Mckenzie Yanta, and for good reason. He rushed for 124 yards and three touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (100.7). His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 120 rushing yards.
This year, Yanta has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 100.7 rushing yards per game.

Big Game from Johnson As Falls City Won 48-7
Another Falls City player making an appearance on this list is Braylon Johnson. He rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 53 yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 103 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Johnson must have Louise's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Johnson saw the Hornets), he rushed for 114 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 112 yards on only eight passes.

Yorktown Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to Rylan Rau
Rylan Rau was instrumental in extending Yorktown's winning streak to five on Friday. Pettus had no answer to Rau as he picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made eight total tackles (4.0 for loss).
For the season, Rau has averaged 5.8 total tackles per game and for the season has 3 sacks.
