The Terry Bulldogs on the road again on Monday and play against the Vicksburg Gators at 7:00 p.m. on January 15th. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Tuesday, Terry faced Hattiesburg in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Terry fell 66-56 to Hattiesburg. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Vicksburg's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 61-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ridgeland.
Terry's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Vicksburg, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-4.
Terry didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Vicksburg in their previous matchup back in December of 2019, but they still walked away with a 57-52 victory. Will Terry repeat their success, or does Vicksburg have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
