Bryson Roland Dazzles in La Vega Win
Bryson Roland's big game helped extend La Vega's winning streak to six on Friday. Roland was unstoppable, rushing for 152 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 67 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
If the past is any indication, Roland could be in store for another big game when he takes on West Orange-Stark on Friday. Back in September (the last time Roland saw the Mustangs), he rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns.

A Season-Best Effort from Brice Mccurdy Leads Robinson over Sealy
Sadly, Brice Mccurdy posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Robinson over Sealy on Friday. Jabarie Thornton Turns in Season-Best Effort
Jabarie Thornton produced his most outstanding game to date while leading La Vega to the win on Friday. Thornton picked up 190 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 67 yards.
Thornton and La Vega are on the road again on Friday to play West Orange-Stark at 7:30 p.m. The Pirates had to take a loss when they last met the Mustangs, but Thornton had little to do with the loss: he picked up 90 receiving yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
