It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Elyria Christian had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They snuck past the Hanover Wildcats with a 62-57 win. Winning may never get old, but Elyria Christian sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
Despite the loss, Hanover still got an impressive performance from Braylon Meyn, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten rebounds. The contest was Meyn's third in a row with at least 16 points. Camron Jueneman was another key player, putting up nine points.
Elyria Christian's victory bumped their record up to 16-4-1. As for Hanover, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-7.
Elyria Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 79-69 defeat against Cunningham on the 14th. Hanover does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
