The Taliaferro County JAGUARS's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Lake Oconee Academy 80-36. Taliaferro County has struggled against the Titans recently, as their game on Monday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Several JAGUARS players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Deven Gaston, who scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gaston has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Orlandus Craft, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Taliaferro County's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Lake Oconee Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-17.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Taliaferro County will take on the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lake Oconee Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th.
