Washington School for the Deaf's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kwabena White-Star led the charge by dropping a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which White-Star has scored at least a third of Washington School for the Deaf's points. Another player making a difference was La'Juan Malone, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Pe Ell's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-9. As for Washington School for the Deaf, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.

As for Washington School for the Deaf, they will head out on the road to square off against Firm Foundation Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Firm Foundation Christian is ranked 356th, while Washington School for the Deaf is ranked 352nd).
