Heath has gone 9-0-1 against Northridge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. Heath has given up an average of 6.7 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Heath took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Licking Heights, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Hornets 12-11 last Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since April 16, 2024.

Kyndall Spicer was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run and five RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Megan Devito, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.

Spicer wasn't the only one making solid contact: Heath kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Northridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Granville, falling 15-0.

The win made it two in a row for Heath and bumps their season record up to 2-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Northridge, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Thursday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Heath hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .386. However, it's not like Northridge struggles in that department as they've averaged .356. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Everything went Heath's way against Northridge in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Heath made off with a 14-3 win. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
