The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Alief Elsik in their matchups with Dawson: they've now lost eight in a row.
Kaden Mendenhall threw for 100 yards on 14 of 25 attempts. Tay'ron Hughes was his top target, picking up 51 receiving yards.
Alief Elsik's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 4-5. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 8.0 points per game.
