Ryan Stafford put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Friday. He tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He is becoming a predictor of Davidson Academy's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 2-1 (and 3-4 when he doesn't).

Coming up, Stafford and Davidson Academy will take on Nashville Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
