Despite the defeat, Brooks County had strong showings from Anton Graham, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two blocks, and Kanilyn Jones, who scored nine points along with two steals and two blocks.
Brooks County struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Colquitt County's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 63-48 bruising from Tift County. Colquitt County has not had much luck with Tift County recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Brooks County has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season. As for Colquitt County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-19.
Brooks County ended up a good deal behind Colquitt County when the teams last played back in January, losing 66-48. Can Brooks County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
