Airport extended their winning streak to five on Sunday, bumping their season record up to 18-4 in the process. They blew past the Linden Eagles 15-3. The Jets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by eight runs or more this season.

As for Linden, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 27-4 record. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this contest were averaging 2.55 runs allowed.

For Linden's part, Miranda Richardson (2026) was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Addi Siegwald (2027), who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Airport has already played their next game, an 11-2 loss against Allen Park on the 18th. As for Linden, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 15-0 defeat against Mercy on the 18th.
