The Ben Lomond Scots's road trip will continue as they head out to face the West Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Ben Lomond is ranked 94th, while West is ranked 106th).
Ben Lomond struggled with threes on Wednesday (Roy had five more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Ben Lomond was the victim of a rough 76-51 loss at the hands of Roy. Ben Lomond was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-28.
The losing side was boosted by Jake East, who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Guerrero, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, West was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 52-46 to Cottonwood. West has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ben Lomond has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for West, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Things could have been worse for Ben Lomond, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 46-30 loss to West in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. Can Ben Lomond avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
