Barbers Hill got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tripp Davis out in front who picked up 176 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Davis' receiving production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 101 receiving yards. Kaegan Morton also helped out with an impressive 84 receiving yards.
Barbers Hill's defense stepped up as well, laying out Cove Darbyshire three times. In that department, Trae Clark was the leader with two sacks.
Anderson's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Crenshaw, who rushed for 127 yards and two TDs while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Jay Fullmer, who picked up 158 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Barbers Hill's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Anderson, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.
Barbers Hill wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 34-31 victory against Weiss on the 29th. Anderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
