Calvary Day School's defeat came about despite a quality game from Asher Tolbert, who went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 3 assists. Owen Calvert was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Meanwhile, Westchester Country Day took their game at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 79-31 win over Statesville Christian.
Bishop McGuinness' win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Calvary Day School's loss dropped theirs to 2-4.
Calvary Day School beat Westchester Country Day 79-66 when the teams last played back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Calvary Day School since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
