Volleyball Recap: Mansfield's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Mansfield had to endure a seven-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Niangua Cardinals on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

Mansfield easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17.

Mansfield's victory bumped their record up to 7-18. As for Niangua, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

Coincidentally, Mansfield and Niangua will both be playing Seymour the next time they take the court. The Lions will host the Tigers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Cardinals will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
