Northwood not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since October 1, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-15, 25-20.

Shae Leighton paced Northwood's offense, picking up eight kills. Leighton got some help from Imani Henderson and her 11 assists. Neah Henry controlled things from the service line, finishing with 11 aces.

Northwood's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Durham School of the Arts, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwood will head out to challenge Southeast Alamance at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Durham School of the Arts, they will square off against South Granville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Bulldogs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
