Wakulla's loss came despite strong showings from Kyendra Thomas and Amariyah Donaldson. Thomas scored 14 points along with eight steals, while Donaldson dropped a double-double on ten rebounds and ten blocks. Thomas scored a full 48.3% of Wakulla's points, the eighth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Xzaveria Robinson was another key contributor, scoring four points along with 11 rebounds.
It was another big night for Gabriella Flowers, who scored 19 points for Liberty County. Another player making a difference was Caleigh Peddie, who scored eight points.
Wakulla bumped their record down to 2-6 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.0 points per game. As for Liberty County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.
Wakulla will head out on the road to face off against Franklin County at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Liberty County will be home for the holidays to greet Altha at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
