The Centralia Panthers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 64-52 victory over Van-Far. This was payback for Centralia, who suffered a 54-51 loss the last time these two teams met.
Despite the loss, Van-Far still got an impressive performance from Nikos Connaway, who scored 20 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Connaway scored a full 38.5% of Van-Far's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Gaven Gatson, who scored 7 points.
Centralia's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Van-Far, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Centralia will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against California at 7:30 p.m. Van-Far is on the road again on Thursday and play against Macon at 9:00 p.m. on December 7th.
