Silver came into Friday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Aztec Tigers on Friday as they made off with a 15-8 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Fighting Colts, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Silver's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Aztec, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.

Silver wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-6 victory against Gallup on the 20th. Hopefully Aztec paid attention to the Fighting Colts' matchup: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Fighting Colts at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
